How do I link to another section of my Document (Plan, Exercise, Management Review, etc.)

The following steps are how you add a link from one section to another inside a Document (Plan, Exercise, Management Review, etc.)

  1. Open the document in question
  2. Go to the destination section and click the blue heading or blue drop down button and select edit section
  3. Locate where you want the link to go to, and click the Flag (anchor) button.
  4. Enter a name for the anchor with no spaces and click save on both the anchor and edit windows
  5. Go to the section where the link is to be placed and click the blue heading or blue drop down button and select edit section
  6. Select the text that you will link, and click the Link button
  7. On the Link Info Tab use the following settings:
    1. Link Type = URL
    2. Protocol = Other
    3. In the URL field, ether #Anchorname where Anchorname is the name entered in the anchor on step 3.
  8. Click Ok in the link window and save in the edit window
  9. The link should now be ready to test
